Anger; Resentment; Confusion; Why me Lord? Is this the way you reward good Christians?
Devotion
God, I have always tried to be a good Christian. So why would You subject me to cancer? Help me realize that the question should not be “why me” but “why not me?” Help me understand that through adversity comes endurance, perseverance and renewed commitment to you. While, at this time, I may not know how this cancer will broaden my walk or the walk of others. I know You have a plan for my cancer and me. Help me learn to surrender to Your plan. Help me believe without question “not my will by thy will be done.” Use this terrible disease in me to work in such ways to glorify You. In Jesus name I pray- Amen.
