Agitation; Lack of peace; “Feeling like in rough water.” How can I calm my feelings?

Dear Lord,
I so long for peace and serenity. I feel irritated and agitated. I am a person who likes the “still waters”. Yet I now the truth is, nothing is absolutely certain in my life. Things happen that have never happened before (like prostate cancer!). Help me realize that if I can achieve a degree of peace by trusting in things that are less than certain, how much more peace could I enjoy by trusting in You who has never failed? Help me, dear Lord, to acquire peace because we believe in God’s absolute trustworthiness.
